Doha, Qatar, December 20, 2022 – SIYAK Language Services (“SIYAK”), a regional leader in the field of translation, interpretation, content writing, and language services, announced today the successful acquisition of Babylon Translation Company, headquartered in Doha, Qatar. Established in 2004 in Lebanon, SIYAK operates across various countries in the Middle East, including Qatar, United Arab Emirates, Oman and Lebanon.
The acquisition is aimed at expanding SIYAK’s client base in Qatar, in addition to upgrading its offering to the local market. Babylon will operate as a division within SIYAK in the short term, while all operational processes will be overseen by the management team of SIYAK until completion of the rebranding by end of 2022.
Over the past few years, SIYAK has expanded its reach across the region, mainly in Qatar after acquiring Babylon. This ambitious new approach to language services comes in line with the company’s efforts to improve operational efficiency and deliver a unique customer experience.
