Rim Chehab is a highly experienced film producer and sales agent with over 15 years of experience in the industry. She graduated from Lebanese American University with a Bachelor’s degree of Communication Arts and began her career as the production manager at Fantacope Production, a production company owned by the acclaimed filmmaker Philippe Aractingi.
During her 11-year tenure at Fantacope Production, Chehab played an instrumental role in producing a diverse range of projects, including feature films, short films, corporate videos, documentaries and TV commercials. Many of these projects have been selected and awarded in international festivals, and some even broadcasted on Netflix (Listen and Heritages).
In addition to her work in film production at Fantascope, Chehab has also produced corporate films for prestigious local museums such as the American University of Beirut Museum, Banque du Liban museum and Ksara Museum. Those films continue to be screened on the premises of these museums for daily visitors.
Moreover, Chehab has been recognized for her outstanding contributions to the industry, having been personally awarded as the best producer at the Lebanese Movie Awards in 2018 for the film Listen by Philippe Aractingi.
Beyond her day to day work, Chehab is also actively involved in humanitarian work, volunteering year-round with reputed NGOs and contributors.
Currently, Chehab works as a part time production manager for contemporary artist and filmmaker Fadia Ahmad and also as a freelance producer and sales agent, specializing in local Lebanese films. She has been involved in numerous successful productions and is considered a leading figure in the Lebanese film industry.
