Mucha Nyandoro-Founder of Manelith, African Development Advocate

Mucha Nyandoro is a dynamic, performance-driven professional with 20 years of experience across a broad range of business disciplines. She has worked in leadership positions for top tier Global Financial Institutions, J.P. Morgan, and HSBC within Corporate and Investment Banking, in Retail, Management Consulting, and Media sectors.

Her corporate roles have included Head of Business Development, Head of Finance & Business Management, Segment CFO, and Vice President. She comes with a vast geographical experience having held a global role and regional roles covering Europe, the Middle East, and Africa. Mucha is the Founder and Principal of Manelith based in Dubai, UAE. She is the Founder of Professional Tribes under which she is the Executive Producer for Fireside TV.

Mucha is concurrently part of the ZimThrive leadership team, heading up strategy and the Middle East region for this social impact platform. She has played a leading role in the fight against COVID-19 in Zimbabwe, through moderating online talk shows for Solidarity Trust Zimbabwe (SOTZIM) with a broad range of recognized experts, and through the COVID-19 Zimbabwe page followed by c.100k.  

As a strong advocate for the development of women and youth as well as corporate Diversity and Inclusion, Mucha has actively contributed to women in leadership studies and business forums, and delivered workshops to both groups. She has been recognized by the Dubai Businesswomen’s Council (Dubai Chamber of Commerce) for her work with female business leaders and entrepreneurs. She has also been featured in the Balance for Better publication on women in leadership by the United Nations, Dubai Chamber, and University of Wollongong Dubai.

Mucha has played a central role in Sustainability & CSR throughout her career. For instance, she has been active in Ramadan events held for labourers as part of her philanthropic work and formed part of an organizing team that delivered a hugely successful year end event to a female labor camp in the UAE – an ongoing mandate, COVID permitting.

With respect to youth development, Mucha has contributed to Injaz UAE for several years, holding workshops with universities in the UAE on career preparedness, as well as judging at STEM competitions and events.

Mucha is an avid mentor and is part of Reach, a non-profit, structured mentoring and professional support programme dedicated to helping young professionals unlock their true potential.

Mucha holds a BSc. (Hons) Economic and Social Policy from the University of London, UK and a Postgraduate Certificate in Personnel and Development from Westminster University in London, UK. She is a believer in continuous learning and uses her social platforms to motivate this attitude widely.
