Becoming a mother will not limit your dreams
Born as a little girl with a dream slowly growing with you, maturing into a young woman, entering the business world, and making the wonderful yet difficult decision to start a family and become a mother. This is the story of various women thriving as entrepreneurs showing an empowering side that will gently reflect on their Motherhood. Being a mom is surely not easy, then how can businesswomen manage their working life and motherhood? If you think that you cannot make it or have a doubt, you are wrong. You can achieve a work-life balance to take responsibility for your duties as a mom and thrive in your career. I believe that every woman gifted with a child is also gifted with superpowers that allow her to surpass every difficulty and keep being strong when tired, sick, exhausted, sad, down, etc. Are you struggling to achieve a work-life balance? Keep reading to be equipped with the know-how and right skillset to succeed in your professional and personal life. It’s a nice notion to think that there is a manual for work-life balance. We can spend a whole lifetime trying to make it “work,” but we’ll always feel like we’re mis-stepping somewhere. Truth is, we’re most probably doing better than we give ourselves credit for. There is no right or wrong way to go about this. Women are superheroes when it comes to multitasking, and motherhood is yet another mantle that they carry with fierce passion and determination. Women are also known to “make it work no matter what, and against all odds.” This is the mindset that allows us to be able to be everywhere, attend to everything, and care for everyone. It’s a predisposed layer of awesomeness that resides in each one: a natural instinct to protect, to succeed when we put our mind to it, and lead by example. So, is there a work-life balance cheat-sheet that we can follow? No, but we make it work, we find the right support system, the adequate pattern for our family, and the right dynamics that allow us both to be the woman that can chase her dreams and the mother that can proudly do it all. Marita Kassis As Marita Kassis said, there are no rules to achieve this balance and create harmony between your professional and personal life. Mona AlHebsi is providing some tips to help you find a way towards achieving this goal. Maintaining harmony between family and career can be a tough feat for the majority of women, but with a little planning and preparation, it’s definitely achievable. Here are some practical solutions to help you as a woman integrate your family and childcare responsibilities with your professional and corporate obligations: Schedule, schedule, schedule: Use a planner or a digital calendar to organize your work and family obligations, and make sure to stick to it as much as possible. Make the most of your time: Utilize your breaks or downtime at work to catch up on family tasks, such as making phone calls to schedule appointments or responding to messages from your children’s caregivers. Share the load: Don’t be afraid to delegate tasks to your partner, family members or caregivers, and ask for help when you need it. Be realistic: Accept that you won’t be able to do everything, and prioritize the tasks that matter most to you and your family. Take care of yourself: Remember to make time for self-care and activities that you enjoy. Taking care of your own needs will allow you to better care for your family and succeed at work. Remember, working moms, you are superheroes! By following these practical solutions and finding a balance that works for you and your family, you can have it all. Mona AlHebsi Most importantly, every mother should know what to prioritize to be able to achieve a balance, because some aspects of life need more time and effort than others. Here are some experiences from working moms who successfully achieved a balance based on priorities to prove that nothing is impossible when you combine dedication, passion, and love. As a mom of 3, I believe that balancing my professional and personal life is essential. For that, I shifted towards a career I really love and enjoy, I learned to set boundaries, prioritize self-care time, disconnect, spend quality time with my family and ask for help when I need it! Joelle Chaaya Being a mother of three while holding leadership positions requires me to first emphasize the necessity of planning in my daily actions and routines, as well as establishing my life priorities. While discussing productivity and organization through structure, planning, and delegating, self-care is an essential component. Said that clearly setting boundaries is necessary for not taking on unnecessary duties, as well as prioritizing relaxation or self-care activity, taking care of myself would reflect on the care I give to my family. Furthermore, I tried numerous times to involve my family, particularly my children, in decision-making processes, whereby I sought their opinions on some work-related matters, as I believe that an outsider’s perspective can add value despite his or her lack of knowledge in the field, and the most motivation I get is when I see them proud of the mother they have. Nada Mallah I passionately believe that life should always come first and work should take a back seat, not the other way around. As a devoted mother, I know that the most crucial thing my family needs is for me to be happy. A mother who is fully alive and present is a force to be reckoned with. She has the power to nurture in a way that cannot be matched. She models the true essence of motherhood by overcoming any obstacle that comes her way, whether it be in the workplace or in life. There is nothing more fulfilling than being able to show up for those we love with all of our energy, passion, and strength.
Saudi Marketing Agencies: Driving Globalism with Vision 2030
Saudi Arabia has undergone a significant shift in recent years, fueled by Vision 2030, a comprehensive plan to transform and diversify the economy. This shift has created new opportunities across all sectors, including marketing, and has paved the way for local marketing agencies to thrive and expand globally. In 2021, the total advertising expenditure in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region was $5.07 billion, a 62% increase from 2020. This growth was driven by online advertising, which grew by 84%, and offline advertising, which grew by 47%. Saudi Arabia leads the MENA media market, accounting for about 30% of the total market share. The Bold Group, Co-founded by Abeer Alessa, is a prime example of a successful Saudi marketing agency. Alessa’s journey to entrepreneurship began with her education, which she pursued in Bahrain and France. Armed with a diploma in Arts & Design from the Royal University in Bahrain and a Master’s degree in International Marketing and Business Development from France, Alessa returned to Saudi Arabia to establish Bold Agency in 2012. Despite facing numerous challenges, Alessa successfully established Bold Agency as one of the first local marketing agencies headed by a female. Over the years, the agency has grown steadily, expanding from a boutique to a group in 2022 on its 10th anniversary. Today, The Bold Group consists of three independent units specializing in brand building, communication, and digital experiences. Bold Brands, the brand creation unit, leverages local experience and international partnerships to build brands that are authentic, relevant, and differentiated. Bold Communications, the brand expression unit, uses the power of people, stories, and cultures to help brands move forward, delivering truthful and relevant modern content that works across all platforms and channels. Bold Experiences, the brand innovation unit, employs creativity and technology to build multi-sensory experiences that inject meaning, relevance, and emotion into the physical or virtual world. The success of the Bold Group and other Saudi marketing agencies is a testament to the potential of the Saudi youth and their ability to compete on the global stage. By leveraging the opportunities created by Vision 2030, these agencies are driving the growth of the marketing industry in the region and beyond. As the Bold Group expands its specialized units, offerings, and offices beyond Saudi Arabia, it is setting a benchmark for other marketing agencies in the region. The future of the Saudi youth is bright, and the country’s focus on inclusion and diversity is creating a supportive environment for young entrepreneurs to thrive and make their mark on the world stage. In conclusion, the success of the Saudi marketing agencies is not only an achievement for the industry but also a testament to the country’s commitment to inclusivity and diversification. With Vision 2030 as a catalyst for change, Saudi Arabia is creating new opportunities for its youth to showcase their capabilities and compete on a global level. The success of agencies like the Bold Group is just the beginning of what the future holds for the Saudi youth.
Take responsibility for your life NOW !
Are you unhappy with your life and feel like you are not in control? Living the life of your dreams might seem impossible, but taking responsibility for your life is key to make it a reality. All of us have painful experiences in our past, but the power to heal lies within ourselves in order to build the life we desire. You may think you’re stuck in a certain situation or that you can’t make the changes that you want. But you have the power and resources to make those changes if you choose to do so. No matter where you are today or what your circumstances are, you can achieve your goals and be happy. Our childhood traumas, past experiences, and norms and values shape our worldview and can affect our decisions as adults. For example, if we had a difficult relationship with our parents growing up, it might influence how we view authority or relationships in the present. Our beliefs about right and wrong can also be shaped by the norms and values we grew up with. But, by understanding our past and taking responsibility for our life, we can work towards our healing and make positive changes. When you take responsibility for your life, you are committing to making it a priority in your life – your needs, your desires and your dreams. It’s a commitment to make an effort each day to do something that brings you closer to achieving your goals. This is the secret to living a successful and fulfilling life – to take responsibility for yourself. One effective way to take control of your life is through the usage of Neuro-Linguistic Programming(NLP) techniques which is a powerful tool for understanding yourself better and communicating with yourself more effectively. It also teaches you how to identify and manage your fears, heal from your traumas, and take the right decisions in life. And most importantly NLP techniques will help you discover the parts of your inner self that need to be heard and learn how to listen to them. You can learn to take ownership of your life and make the best decisions for yourself. It’s time to take responsibility for your life and build the life you desire! Don’t let fear or insecurity hold you back, use the power within yourself and trust that you can make it happen. “Life is what you make it.”

ANNA BONOAVALLI WARD, INTANGIBLE
Which of the artist or the light has surprised the other? The roles are reversed and now it’s the photo that seems on the move in front of the still viewer. The click captures the gesture on the fly and the intangible form crosses the dark paper like a curtain or a matrix, to be born to light in an alchemy between the visible and the invisible. Anna Bondavalli’s lens, lit from the within, stands in a stasis of time where the gesture has been initiated before the click and will continue afterwards, drawing with traces of light the emotions in motion, imitating the functioning of the mind going through an internal struggle, trying to understand and comprehend, to explore and reveal the fragility and uncertainty of being, evolving above fear and confusion, loneliness and doubts. The viewer is left thoughtful, in an in-between space of time where the pact is concluded between the interiority of the subject and her body of flesh. In the digital era, the jargon of photography takes on its full meaning. The “revealing bath” takes now place in the eye of the artist who delivers us a photosensitive work that imprints the surface of our skin.
