Vera Hassan, head of Marketing at Patchi Headquarters, a meticulous and highly accomplished professional with over 16 years of hands-on experience in Brand development, Marketing & Corporate Communications, and PR & Events management. At Patchi, Vera has grown from being head of marcom to leading on the brand development for more than 12 years now. Subsequently, she successfully accomplished the development of the Brand’s current image and identity, as well as the development and launch of the brand’s new retail concept, introducing the brand into different countries across the globe such as Azerbaijan, London amongst others, in addition to expanding and growing the business within the Mena region.
Prior to her current position, Vera was handling the positions of Corporate Manager at Integra SAL, from which she launched Al-Balad Newspaper, proceeded by taking on the Business Development Manager role at FP7 McCann.
In February 2009, Vera was elected as a Member of the Jury for the Mena Crystal Awards. Later on, in February 2012, she acted as a key advisor and speaker at the Arab Brand Summit. Moreover,Vera was a member of the JURY for the Creative Combat Awards, at the ARAB NET in March 2014, and in July 2013, she was featured in ARAB AD Magazine amongst the top women in the advertising scene in the Arab World. She then became a speaker for “New Technologies in the Retail Experience”, at the Digital Transformation Forum, Arab Net, in 2018.
Vera is a Mass Communication graduate with honors from the Lebanese University, attending later on a Brand Management, Marketing and PR management course at London College.
Vera is passionate by nature, and is deeply fond of brand building, management, and communication, and she likes to always be updated on new brand trends and experiences.
