Specialized in cultural tourism management, historical tourism, and tour guiding, Sirena Tannoury believes that success is a learning process, thus, she participated in training courses about tour organization at TLB destinations and Explore UK, in addition to her studies in the field of leadership and entrepreneurship training with UNDP, YLP, and BeryTech.
Throughout her years of experience, Sirena founded Wonders of Leb tours, which is specialized in private cultural and leisure day trips all across Lebanon for international tourists.
Since 2017, she is aspiring to represent her country’s heritage and the richness of its local community to the whole world. And that, by showing the real heart of Lebanon and the joyful life it represents. Despite all challenges faced, Sirena never planned on leaving because she believed that she carried a message and a drive for positive change in her country.
Speaking of Wonders of Leb tours, the private day tours are all inclusive trips (Professional guided tour, private transport, local special experiences, traditional lunch, and entrances to sites), which include Lebanon’s lesser-known gems and its top historical and natural attractions.
Moreover, the initiative has an essential aim to encourage women empowerment and sustainable tourism in Lebanon, through visiting local producers and experiencing Lebanese rural life and cultural exchange, while having coffee and traditional Arabic sweets with local families. All that, allows the visitors to discover craftswomen who sell their traditional art and can give different workshops like Soap making, pottery making, glass-blowing, knitting classes, etc…
