Rania Kassir, founder of Happy Brain Clinic, is a speech and language therapist and Neuropsychologist with many years of experience. She holds an inter-university diploma in swallowing from Paul Sabatier University in Toulouse (France) and is currently a PhD candidate in clinical Neuroscience at Picardie Jules Verne University in Amiens (France) in collaboration with Saint-Joseph University of Beirut (Lebanon) where she earned her bachelor’s degree. She received her master’s degree in neuropsychology and clinical neuroscience from Lyon II University in Lyon (France).
She is an experienced therapist who worked at multiple facilities in various capacities (Hanane centers, Hotel-Dieu de France hospital, universities in Lebanon and in France…). She diagnosed and treated speech and language disorders, pediatric (toddler/child) feeding and oral sensory disorders, apraxia, aphasia, dysphagia (swallowing), dementia and dysexecutive syndrome, and pragmatic language disorders with infants, pre-school children, school-aged children, and adults
